We were invited by the Veterinary Department of the Federal University of Viçosa (Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Brazil) to assist veterinarians in a project to disseminate research carried out within the university to public schools. Using simple and appropriate language to show children how research carried out on animals can help in human medicine.
We develop teaching materials for children, such as magazines.
All material was created using our characters in a simpler and more user-friendly style.
We also made outline versions so the kids also have a magazine version so they can color the characters themselves.
We also used the characters to create cards that served as a memory game for children to interact with.
